A fourth-generation family business, KNOELL RAHMEN is dedicated to finding the perfect frames for artworks from around the world. We’ve spent decades assembling a comprehensive archive of historical frames, with objects and styles that span more than five centuries. From window-like, gothic ‘Wasserschlag’ frames to Italian tabernacles ; from cassetta frames to baroque ‘Sansovino’ frames; from Dutch frames with ripple moulding to ‘Salvator-Rosa’ frames, Louis-XIV frames and neo-classical gold frames – the archival rooms at KNOELL RAHMEN house examples running to the thousands. Our collection of antique frames is unparalleled in its quality and density.
